Kevin Joubert was Big Red Racing's co-founder and original co-driver.  Brian and Kevin met through a group of friends and quickly hit it off once they started talking about rally.  A year or so later Kevin found out about the COG Rally in Steamboat Springs, Colorado and Brian was instantly ready to build a car and do.

Joubert competed in the COG Rally (now known as Rally Colorado) both iand  100 Acre Wood in 2001.  He returned to co-drive once again in 2002 for the COG Rally though shortly there-after his wife became pregnate with their 3rd child and he had to retire his racing career to attend to his fatherly duties.
