The BMW has been dropped off at Salta Motorsports to be outfitted with a new cage, seats, harnesses and diff. With some luck, we'll have a new suspension by the first Hill Climb in may. It sounds like the first race of the Colorado Rally Cup will be April 4th. The hope is to have the car ready and rolling by then.
Taking the place of the BMW while not in the garage is the '62 Ford Falcon. It's being aggressively torn down. Over the next two months the plan is to upgrade the front brakes to disc, repaint and reupholster the interior, and get the body work done. The carpet has already been bought and is a dark/navy blue which will be the base. Not exactly sure what the final color scheme is just yet, though I expect to have something in the next couple of weeks.
